Environment
Today's people have become very bad. They believe that I am everything, I have seen that as now all human beings are harming the environment a lot and the environment harms all of you because you people are harming the environment, the same will happen to you now as I believe Am soil is most important for everyone, brother, you are covering the soil, what is it with cement, I make you one, how important is it, you have harmed nature a thousand times, so you will also get damage, you believe that nature The most important thing is that you people are cutting trees, it will not rain, the barren land will become barren, only then what will you do. People start your own movement brother, see now I will tell you why Sohail is important for yourself, the soil is so important as if you have become a desert, there are many places and trees are not being planted, it is depend on you trees Plants are singing to you, brother, the most important thing is to plant trees. And you are cutting down trees and plants, man thinks only for his own meaning now and whoever will play with nature right now will be very wrong, let's see that there is a flood of people, this place trees are not growing here and I want to tell you that you will give desert to your coming generation, what will happen to your next generation to eat, I want to tell you a story I want to tell you a story on top of the soil, see what happened, was a child, the same child did Saw that why are you pouring cement cement in this place, there will be no soil, how will the trees be plants, how will the fruits be, the child asked his father how will the papa trees be plants, here the cement has become cement everywhere, Papa said his Will take trees from the market and plant them in a pot, the child said, how will the big trees grow, if the father says, he will not eat his tree, the child said, father, I want something from you, I want a place where there is a small land and I will plant trees, Papa said son stubbornness The child said, please give me that land, the father has given the land to the child. Started planting trees. In the next 10 years, the trees grew, became good and bears fruit, but the condition of the city deteriorated, the whole barren land became a desert, only the brother was left more, the land became expensive everywhere. Was left in the city where the child had grown into trees, now father speaks son to child, I am proud of you, are you my son, you have done a very right thing, son only then the son speaks, father, you have covered the ground without thinking. The given land also got spoiled, the whole barren land is left, I knew this would happen, so I made further preparations, then the child went and said to the people who had come to the land, you have seen what is happening now after 10 years. They went, the whole place of the land has become a desert, only you are left in my place where trees are planted, plant trees and tell the land too, I want to tell you this
According to me, humans are killing themselves, harming the environment, only then humans are believing themselves, according to me, this is to say that the environment is most important, wherever you go, you will always need the environment, always therefore save the environment .

What is environment and what are the ways to protect it?
Environment includes all naturally occurring biotic or living and abiotic or non-living components in a specified area. While the term environment can refer to a small area or habitat, it is more commonly used to refer to the Earth's natural ecosystem as a whole. It is believed to be derived from 'environia', which is the French word for 'around'.
In layman's terms, environment can simply be described as one's natural surroundings. Currently, the environment is damaged, seemingly beyond repair. So, our only concern is how can we protect the environment?
Why should we protect the environment?
Environment is the basis of life. The environment provides us with food, water, medicine, shelter, nutrients, raw materials, fuel, and everything else that we may need or want to live a full and luxurious life.
Without the natural balance of the ecosystem, all life would cease to exist. Anthropogenic activity threatens to disrupt this balance. Therefore, it is necessary and extremely important that we protect and conserve the environment by adopting sustainable development techniques instead of fully exploiting it.
How can we protect the environment?
We all know the common saying that 'charity begins at home.' Similarly, protecting our planet and its environment starts at home. Preserving and protecting the environment is necessary to secure the future, life of the Earth, and as a result, the human race, or everything else, will simply be wiped out.
Mentioned below is a list of some small steps you can take and some changes you can make in your everyday lifestyle to protect the environment without any pressure or hassle. When adopted by the majority of people, these small steps can make a huge difference for the better. With this the least we can do is help spread awareness about the issue.
reduce reuse recycle
Reduce your waste, reuse your waste and recycle your waste. Follow the 3 'R's to do your part in conserving the environment. This method reduces the waste to a great extent and keeps the environment clean.
volunteer
Volunteering for a social cause to maintain the environment is another effective way to contribute to its well being. About 79 percent of the land area on Earth is impure. Volunteering for cleaning campaigns, picking up garbage from streets and trashed beautiful natural surroundings is an essential aspect of keeping the environment clean and safe for all.
plant trees
Planting trees is the most common and textbook method of taking care of the environment. By increasing the green cover on the earth, the carbon footprint is significantly reduced, thereby reducing the negative impacts on the environment to a great extent. It also helps to purify the air and improve its quality by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen.
Scientists have concluded that the green cover has decreased by 15.83% in the last century. The average carbon footprint of a person is 4 tonnes annually. We need to turn back as quickly as possible to save nature from the onslaught of man.
Fertilizer
Composting may seem like a daunting or grandiose task, but it is not. It is relatively simple, given that you have the necessary knowledge and will. A small kitchen garden is easy to set up and compost within. It helps you eliminate your organic waste in a more nature-friendly way while enhancing the air quality around your home. It also provides you with fresh manure for your plants and improves soil quality.
travel smart
Whenever possible, choose to walk, cycle, take public transportation or carpool with friends, family, and co-workers. This will reduce vehicular movement on the roads, thereby reducing gaseous emissions to a great extent. It turns out that its cost is also low. Gaseous emissions in the air are toxic and can lead to serious issues such as acid rain. By limiting the problem to the source itself, we make it easier for the environment to fix.
go sustainable
Choose sustainable development measures instead of plain exploitation. Sustainable development gives the earth a means to protect the environment as well as survive in the future. Our short-term greed and luxury are remotely unreasonable. We have to preserve the environment to preserve life on earth for future generations because if we don't, scientists predict that if we keep destroying it at the present rate then natural balance will be permanently in next 100 years. will end with.
go organic
Try and go organic wherever possible. Whether it is food, daily products, or clothing, choose organic materials over inorganic materials as much as possible. Cut down on plastics and other toxic and harmful chemical compounds as they seriously damage the environment and lead to major problems like biomagnification and eutrophication.
Destiny
See, karma means work, you all keep working in your life, something or the other whether you are sitting or standing or lying, look, you depend on your karma, focus your attention on your work, whatever you do. Do everything you do with your conscience, you have to keep full attention on your work, it will help you a lot, always you always have to do good work, I want to say this, live life with good work, have faith in God and go on with your work And tell yourself with a certainty that I will come out to be a good person.
Tips to Improve Your Concentration
If you've ever found it difficult to go through a daunting task at work, studying for an important exam, or spending time on a complex project, you may have wished you had an increased ability to concentrate. Can you
Concentration refers to the mental effort that you direct towards whatever you are working on or learning at the moment. It is sometimes confused with attention span, but attention span refers to the length of time you can focus on something.
factors affecting concentration
Attention span and concentration can both vary for a number of reasons. Some people have a hard time letting go of distractions. Age and lack of sleep can affect concentration.
Most people forget things more easily with age, and reduced concentration may be accompanied by memory loss. Injuries to the head or brain, such as concussions, as well as certain mental health conditions can also affect concentration.
It's easy to get frustrated when you're trying to focus but can't. This can lead to tension and irritation, which tends to make you focus on what you need to do even more distant dreams.
If this sounds familiar, keep reading to learn more about research-backed methods to help improve your concentration. We'll also go over some of the conditions that can affect concentration and don't help if you're trying to increase concentration on your own.
See, there is a right way to focus, the first way is that you can increase your focus by looking at nature and together with the sweet melodious music inside nature, the best way is by meditation, you can increase your focus, your God Meditate on and you can increase your focus, in this way I want to say this, the way of doing meditation should be a right way. To do the written meditation, you first have to wear clean clothes and sit everywhere and listen to your God. Concentrate on this is the right way to meditate, a person should focus on his work and be determined and always meditate. You can also focus, you have to decide for yourself that yes brother, I have to focus on this thing, first of all thank you.
My suggestion to become habit
Look man, today we will know the truth, all human beings consider themselves great today, but I am hollowing myself out from within myself. Nature has given them to eat, human beings have become so proud that their brother is anywhere now I am going to tell how bad it is to be proud, all human beings consider themselves great when they are not, while they are not the biggest Your enemy is arrogant, you protect yourself from pride, what gives you life, you tell me, pride is such a thing that ruins a person's life What is pride pride is such a thing that a person makes himself hollow Going see now let me tell you a story there was a man that man called himself great but he is not great I believe those who call themselves great will remain great now see what that man did Said to the man, I am the king here, I cannot do anything, show me as a king, the person said I I may not be a king, but I will show myself as a king, then that person has decided that I will show it as a king, now what did that person do, he told himself that I will become a king, I will break the pride of that person, I will give a lesson Then what did the person do, he started serving the people, brother, the people also blessed the person, that person said that even if I die, I will do good to you, in the same way, the people made the person the king. Help the person better, get the help done in the work of the person, only then with the help of the public, he became a very big man, but the other man who was proud, he remained small, only then the other person who did not have pride said, do not be proud, live life The true meaning of this is that all people are hollowing themselves out of pride
How to Overcome Pride
The fact that you are even reading this article is a sign that you are on the right track to becoming a humbler, more aware person. While it's great to be confident, it's easy to take it too far. Fortunately, there are many ways you can adjust your mindset and behavior to make you feel proud. In this article, we'll walk you through the changes you can make in your life to become more balanced and wiser – not only for yourself, but for others as well.
Acknowledging Your Pridefulness
1. Own your mistakes. If you are an arrogant person, you may have trouble admitting when you are wrong. In a way, everyone has some difficulty taking ownership of mistakes. You may deny responsibility because the act of "being wrong" doesn't align with your self-concept. But admitting that you are wrong is not a weakness - it is just a part of being human.
Learn to accept the mistake, and apologize/correct when you are wrong. Simply say, "I'm sorry, it was my fault." Doing so will help you maintain relationships and may even benefit your personal growth.
2.Lose the defensiveness. In a way, excessive pride destabilizes you because you are always afraid of losing favor or status. Because of this volatility, you can be quick to hedge. Defensiveness makes you inflexible and insecure. It also closes the lines of communication.
Instead of jumping to the rescue, stop. Don't follow your instincts, which is to defend. Take some deep breaths. Agreed - to an extent - by saying "yes, and..." it is preferable to "yes, but", which comes across as defensive. Then, try to work with the other person to brainstorm an effective solution that doesn't jeopardize the relationship.
Do your best to develop inquisitive instincts and embrace the perspective of others.
Work on accepting criticism as a learning experience. Taking things personally makes it difficult to reflect and improve.
3.Practice mindfulness. Mindfulness allows you to slow down and connect with the present moment. It brings awareness to your thoughts and can help you notice your proud thoughts and reactions. Begin a mindfulness practice to pay attention to and eventually accept those parts of yourself.
You can activate mindfulness at a time when your pride is under control. For example, you feel threatened by a coworker who is doing an excellent job. You can slow down and tune in to your thoughts and feelings. Remember that you don't have to see the success of others as a threat. Instead think of ways to learn from that person. It can help to celebrate the success of others.
loss of self-awareness
1. Embrace constructive criticism. Arrogant people rarely want a response. Still, getting another perspective from time to time is the only way to maintain an accurate view of yourself. Make a commitment to start exploring and using constructive criticism.
To start, ask some friends or coworkers to give you an honest list of three traits they admire about you and then three signs where you might need to do some work. Don't defend Say, "thank you," and see how you can use their suggestions for your personal growth.
2. Stop comparing. When you compare, you are looking for a way to be better than others. As an arrogant person, you may associate your self-worth with what you have or have done. The healthiest form of self-worth, however, is tied to who you are. It doesn't depend on achievements or stuff.
Accept your current beliefs but learn to question them. This will help you grow.
Developing Humility
Share your flaws. If pride rules you, you may have a hard time accepting your shortcomings. Exercise in vulnerability and start revealing your flaws. You will find that others are more attracted to you. Plus, you're in a better position to respond without coming across as arrogant.
This shouldn't be a big revelation. You can start small. Next time you hear someone else feel insecure - someone say "Oh, how hard I can resist sweets!" - If you can relate to them, say so. Don't stop yourself from developing a deeper connection in an effort to look perfect.
Vulnerability takes courage but the more you practice, the easier it becomes.
Instead of serving, serve others. Being humble does not mean putting others before yourself at the expense of yourself. Rather it simply means not to focus so much within yourself that you lose opportunities to serve. Turn your attention outside and recognize how you can equally serve and connect with others.
Next time you see someone struggling, give them a hand. Ask your coworker, partner, or friend, "Can I do anything to make your day better?"
You can also serve the local community by volunteering your time.
How to Be Kind
Being kind is an important way to bring meaning to our own lives. It also brings happiness to the lives of other people around us. Being kind allows us to communicate better, be more compassionate, and also be a positive force in people's lives. The true source of kindness lies deep within you, and while some people are innately kind, it is something that everyone can learn from their own choices.
Developing a Kinder Perspective
Take genuine care of others. In its most basic form, kindness is about genuinely caring for other people around you, wanting the best for them, and having the same wants, needs, aspirations, and even fears in them. Also what you have. Kindness is warm, resilient, patient, trustworthy, loyal and grateful. Piero Ferrucci sees kindness as "making less effort" because it frees us from bonding with negative attitudes and feelings such as resentment, jealousy, doubt, and manipulation. Ultimately, kindness is the deep care of all beings.
Practice kindness and generosity towards others. Being out of practice, being shy, or not knowing how to reach out to others can only be overcome by persistent effort until it becomes a natural impulse to be kind and to give to others .
Don't ask for anything in return. The greatest kindness expects nothing, is attached without strings, and places no condition on anything being done or said.
Don't be too kind to get what you want. Beware of deceptive kindness. Kindness is not about "self-interested politics, calculated generosity, superficial manners". Treating other people well simply because you believe it will manipulate them into giving you what you want in life, or as a means of controlling them, is not kindness. There's nothing kind about pretending to care about someone all the time while suppressing anger or contempt; It is not kindness to hide your anger or frustration behind false happiness.
In the end, being a people pleaser is not kindness; It's a behavior designed to give in, not just to rock the boat because you're afraid that taking a step too far will sink the ship.
Be kind to yourself. Many people make the mistake of trying to be kind to others while at the same time not focusing on being kind to themselves. Some of this may be due to not liking aspects of oneself, but more often than not, it is due to an inability to get to know oneself better. And unfortunately, when you don't feel solid within yourself, your kindness to others runs the risk of falling into the deceptive kind of kindness described in the previous step. Or, it can lead to irritation and disillusionment because you put everyone else first.
Self-knowledge allows you to see what is causing your pain and conflict, and enables you to embrace your contradictions and discrepancies. This allows the space to work on the things about yourself that you are not happy with. In turn, self-knowledge helps you stop projecting your negative aspects onto other people, empowering you to treat other people with love and kindness.
Take the time to become more self-aware and use this learning to be kind to ourselves (remember we all have weaknesses) and to others. In this way, your inner anger is being dealt with instead of your need to project hurt and pain.
Avoid viewing the time it takes to become more aware of one's own needs and limitations as an act of selfishness; Far from it, it is an important precondition for being able to reach out to other people with great strength and awareness.
Ask yourself what you think it means to be kind to yourself. For many people, being kind to yourself involves monitoring the chatter in your thoughts and stopping your negative thinking.
Learn kindness from others. Think about the really kind people in your life and how they make you feel. Do you catch their warm glow in your heart every time you think about them? It's likely that you do this because kindness remains, warming you even in the face of the most difficult challenges. When other people find a way to love you for who you are, it's impossible to forget that kind of trust and affirmation of competence, and their kindness lasts forever.
Remember how the kindness of other people "makes your day". What is it about their kindness that makes you feel special and cherished? Are there things they do that you can repeat to your heart?
Cultivate kindness for the good of your own health. Better psychological health and happiness come from more positive thinking, and kindness is a positive mental state. [6] While kindness is about giving and being open to others, giving kindness brings to us a sense of well-being and connectedness that improves our own mental state and health.
Although simple, the ability to be kind is a powerful and consistent reward in itself, a self-esteem booster.
Get in the habit of focusing on kindness. Leo Babuta says that kindness is a habit and it is a habit that everyone can develop. He suggests focusing on kindness every day for a month. At the end of this guided focus, you will be aware of profound changes in your life, you will feel better about yourself as a person, and you will find that people react to you differently, including treating you better. also includes. As they say, in the long run, being kind is karma in practice. [8] Tips to help you increase your kindness include:
Do one type of work for someone every day. At the beginning of the day, decide carefully what type of work it will be and take the time to do it during the day.
When you interact with someone, be kind, friendly, and compassionate, and even more so where that person normally angers, stresses, or annoys you. Use kindness as your strength.
Develop your small acts of kindness into larger acts of compassion. Volunteering for the needy and taking initiatives to alleviate suffering are great acts of compassion.[9]
Meditate to help spread kindness. Read Practice Loving Kindness Meditation (META) for more information.
Be kind to everyone, not just those "in need". Expand your circle of kindness. It can be very easy to be kind when we are unknowingly doing what Stephanie Dowrich called "preserving kindness." This refers to the kindness given to those we feel are genuine. Those in need (the sick, the poor, the weak, and those who align with our own ideals). Being kind to people emotionally (like family or friends) or in other ways (from the same country, of the same color, gender, etc.) is even easier than being kind to the philosopher Hegel called "the other". . ". It may be more difficult to be kind to those we may consider ourselves as equals, but it will be worth it.
The problem with limiting our kindness to "convenient" matters is that we fail to recognize that we need to be kind to everyone, no matter what they are, their level of wealth or fortune, their values and Beliefs, their behavior and attitudes, their place of origin, their similarity to themselves, etc.
By choosing to be kind only to those we deem worthy of kindness, we are freeing our own prejudices and judgments, and practicing only conditional kindness. Natural kindness encompasses all beings and while the challenges you will face when trying to put this broad notion of kindness into practice may sometimes be trying, you will truly find the depth of your ability to be compassionate. Will not stop learning about.
If you are neglecting to be kind to someone else because you feel they can cope without your support or understanding, then you are practicing selective kindness.
Minimize decisions. If you really want to be kind, you have to curb your judgment. Instead of spending your time criticizing other people, work on being positive and compassionate. If you think poorly of others, wish others could step up their game, or feel like those around you are needy or clueless, you will never learn true kindness. Stop judging people and realize that you'll never fully understand where they're coming from until you've walked in their shoes for a day. Instead of judging others for not being better, focus on their willingness to help.
If you're a judgmental person, prone to gossip, or always bad-mouthing the people around you, you won't be able to outgrow your reservations for being kind.
Being kind means giving people the benefit of the doubt rather than expecting perfection.
Developing Kind Qualities
Be kind to others. It's important to take the message, "Be kind, because everyone you meet is fighting an uphill battle". Attributed to Plato, this proverb is a belief that everyone is going through some or the other challenge in their lives and that sometimes, it is all too easy for us when we become embroiled in our problems or anger against them. Before doing something that could negatively affect another person, ask yourself a simple question: "Is this the kind of thing?". If you can't answer this in the affirmative, it's a reminder to change your action and attitude immediately.
Even where you are feeling at your worst, remember that other people are feeling uncertainty, pain, difficulty, sadness, hopelessness, and loss as well. This doesn't diminish your own feelings in any way, but it does allow you to realize that people often react with their own hurt and pain, rather than their whole selves, and that kindness can help see the furious feelings and the real person. Connecting with is the key.
Don't expect perfection. If your instincts are perfectionism, competitiveness, or an inspired sense of urgency, self-kindness can often be a victim of your ambition and quickness, as well as your fear of appearing lazy or selfish. Remember to slow down and forgive yourself when things don't work out as desired.
Learn from your mistakes rather than impose yourself on them or compare yourself to others. It is through self-compassionate responses that you can begin to see other people's needs in a compassionate light.
To be present. The greatest gift of kindness to another person is to be in their presence in the moment, to listen carefully, and to be genuinely attentive to them. Schedule your day differently, and stop being known as the person who is always on the run. To be present means to be available; You can only do this if you are not rushing or pressuring people and activities.
Make technical means of communicating with others easier. Impersonal and hasty technical communications such as text and email have their place in life, but not as your only means of communication. Take the time to connect with people face-to-face, or via an uninterrupted phone call. Send a letter instead of an email and surprise someone with the kindness of taking the time out of your day to put pen to paper.
Be a good listener. Listening is easier said than done in our fast-paced world, where running and being busy is seen as a virtue; Where someone cut off because you're too busy, or you need to get somewhere quickly, this is ideal. However, making busy being a habit is no excuse for ruthlessness. When talking to someone, learn to listen with your whole being and pay close attention to them until they reveal their thoughts and story.
Really listening to someone, making eye contact, avoiding all distractions and giving a person the time of day is one of the greatest acts of kindness. Take the time to really absorb what the person is saying before responding with a pre-made reply or interruption. Show the person that you appreciate the unique situation they are in and that you are there to lend an ear.
Being a good listener doesn't mean being a great problem solver. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is to be there to listen, while admitting that you don't know what the person should be doing.
Be optimistic. Joy, happiness, and gratitude rest at the heart of kindness, allowing you to see the good in others and the world, enabling you to push through the challenges, disappointments, and cruelties that you see. and experience, continually restoring the spirit of faith in humanity. , Maintaining an optimistic attitude ensures that acts of kindness are performed with genuine joy and happiness, rather than reluctance or a sense of duty or service. And your sense of humor ensures that you don't take yourself too seriously and take life's contradictory and opposite moments in good faith.
Being optimistic isn't always easy, especially when you've had a bad day. But with enough practice, one can cultivate optimism by focusing on the positive instead of the negative, thinking about happy things in the future, and living a life filled with more joy than sadness. And it doesn't cost a dollar to see the bright side of things.
Being optimistic and staying positive will not only bring you into the mindset of being kind, but it will also bring happiness to the people around you. If you spend most of your time complaining, it will be more difficult to bring joy to the people in your class.
Read How to Be Grateful for more information on how to be happy, how to be funny, and how to cultivate optimism.
Coherence. People who are kind are also friendly. This doesn't mean that they are the most outgoing people in the room, but they do try to get to know new people and make them feel at home. If you have someone new to your school or workplace, you can try talking to the person, explaining how things work, and even inviting them to social events. Even if you're not going out, simply smiling and making small talk with people can go a long way in making you friendlier, and that kindness will go unnoticed.
Sociable people are kind because they expect good from people. They talk to new people and friends alike in a comfortable, reassuring way that makes them feel at home.
If you're naturally shy, you don't need to completely change your personality. Make a little extra effort to be nice to people by giving them your attention, asking them how they are, and showing interest in them.
Be polite Although being polite in itself is not a sign of kindness, genuine humility shows your respect for the people you are interacting with. Being polite is a good way to get people's attention and have your say. Some simple ways to do this include:
Find ways to redefine your requests or responses to others. For example, say "Can I?" "Am I?" Instead; say "I'm surprised" instead of "It's not fair"; Instead of saying "I'll explain it another way" say "That's not what I said". Rewriting your language reveals a lot.
Have good manners. Keep doors open to people, avoid being overly vulgar in person, and don't get overly familiar with new people.
Compliment and make sense of them.
To be thankful People who are genuinely kind are able to express gratitude easily. He does not take anything lightly and always thanks people for helping them. They know how to say "thank you" and really mean it, they write thank you cards, and they are comfortable accepting when they have received help. People who are grateful tend to thank people simply because things like making their days brighter, rather than simply thanking them for completing specific tasks. If you make a habit of being more grateful to the people around you, you will see your type ability increase.
If you are more attentive to all the good things that others do for you, you will be more willing to do good things for others. You will be more aware of how good the kindness of others makes you feel and you will feel more inclined to spread the love.
Taking Action
Love animals and the living world. It is kindness to love animals and take care of pets. Nothing forces you to care about beings of another species, especially in a day and age where the tools of human domination are so powerful. And yet, the act of loving an animal and respecting the animal for its value is an expression of deep kindness. At the same time, being kind to the world that sustains and nurtures us is sensible as well as compassionate, ensuring that we do not poison the elements that assure us of a healthy life.
Adopting or fostering a pet. Your kindness will be rewarded by giving you another existence in your life that will bring you joy and love.
Offer to pet-sitting for a friend who is passing away. Reassure your friend that a loving and caring person will be looking after her pet while she is away.
Be respectful of the species you are caring for. Man is not the "master" of the animals; Rather, we stand in relation to being responsible for their well-being and care.
Take the time to restore parts of your local environment with the local community. Go for nature walks with family, friends, alone, and communicate with the world you are a part of. Share your love for nature with others, to help rekindle their sense of connection with nature.
share. Kind people are happy to share with others. You can share your favorite sweater, your halfway through delicious enchilada, or even words of career advice to someone younger than you. The important thing is that you are sharing something you really care about, rather than giving away something you don't really need. It's a lot more worthwhile to allow your friend to borrow your favorite sweater than to give her an old hand-me-down you've never worn. Sharing with people will make you more generous and, thus, more inclined towards kindness.
Keep an eye out for people who would really benefit from some of the things you have. They may not always ask for them, but you can easily offer it to them before they admit they need something from you.
smile more. Smiling is a simple act of kindness that can go a long way. Make it a habit to smile at strangers, or at your friends or acquaintances. Although you don't have to put a smile on your face, smiling at people will make them smile back, and also bring some joy to their days. Plus, smiling can actually prompt your brain to feel happier than before. Everyone wins when you smile, and your capacity for kindness will increase in the process.
Smiling at people will also make them more comfortable and make you more approachable, which is another way to be kind. Welcoming others, and even giving strangers the benefit of the doubt by smiling, is another way to be kind.
Take an interest in people. People who are genuinely kind are genuinely interested in other people. They are not kind to them just because they want to get what they want or because they are fishing for a favor. They do this because they really care about how people are doing and want the people around them to be happy and healthy. To be more compassionate, work on developing an interest in other people and show them you care by being attentive, asking questions, and paying attention. Here are some ways to get people interested:
Ask people how they are and mean it.
Ask people about their hobbies, interests, and families.
If someone you care about has had a major life event, ask that person how it went.
If someone you know is going to have a big exam or interview, wish them all the best.
When you talk to people, make sure they are talking at least halfway. Don't dominate the conversation and focus on the other person more than you.
Make eye contact and put your cell phone away when you talk to people. Show that they are your first priority.
donate to charity. Another way to be kind is to donate some of your belongings. Instead of throwing away your old things or selling them for 50 cents at a garage sale, donate the things you don't need to a good cause. If you have clothes, books, or other household items in good condition, making a habit of donating rather than storing or throwing these things away is a great way to spread your kindness to others.
If you have clothing or books that someone you know might need, don't hesitate to donate those items to that person. This is another way to be kind.
Meditation
Meditation is a practice derived from Hinduism and Buddhism. The goal of meditation is to focus and understand one's mind – ultimately reaching a higher level of awareness and inner peace. Meditation is an ancient practice, but scientists are still discovering all of its benefits. Regular meditation can help you control your emotions, increase your concentration, reduce stress, and connect even more with the people around you. With practice, you may be able to achieve a sense of peace and calm. Will be able to, no matter what is happening around you. There are many different ways to meditate, so if one practice doesn't work for you, consider trying a different type that works better for you before you give up.
feel relaxed before meditating
Choose a quiet, peaceful environment. Meditation should be practiced in a quiet place. A calm environment will enable you to focus exclusively on work and avoid external stimuli and distractions. Find a place where you won't be interrupted for the duration of your meditation - whether it lasts for 5 minutes or as long as half an hour. The space doesn't need to be huge—a walk-in closet or even an outdoor bench can be used for meditation as long as you have privacy.
For those new to meditation, it is especially important to avoid any outside distractions. Turn off the TV set, phone, or other noisy equipment.
If you play music, choose quiet, repetitive melodies to avoid disturbing your concentration. You can also play white noise or calm nature sounds like running water.
Your meditation space doesn't need to be completely silent, so you won't need earplugs. A lawn mower or the sound of a dog barking cannot prevent effective attention. In fact, being aware of these noises without overpowering your thoughts is an important component of meditation.
As long as you don't sit near a busy street or any other source of loud noise, meditate on lots of outdoor activities. You can find peace by sitting under a tree or on some green grass in a favorite corner of a garden.
Wear comfortable clothes. A major goal of meditation is to calm the mind and block out external distractions. This can be difficult if you feel physically uncomfortable due to tight or restrictive clothing. Try to wear loose clothing during meditation practice and be sure to take off your shoes.
If you plan to meditate in a cool place, wear a sweater or cardigan, or bring a blanket or shawl that you can wrap around. You don't want the feeling of cold to consume your thoughts.
If you're in a place where you can't easily change your clothes, do your best to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Just try to take off your shoes.
Do a few stretches before starting to prevent stiffness. Meditation usually involves sitting in one place for a certain amount of time, so it's important to release any tension or tightness before you begin. A few minutes of light stretching can help prepare both your body and your mind for meditation. It will also prevent you from focusing on any painful area instead of resting.
Remember to stretch your neck, shoulders, and lower back—especially when you're sitting in front of a computer. Extending your legs – with an emphasis on the inner thigh – can be helpful when meditating in the lotus position.
If you don't already know how to stretch, consider learning different stretching techniques to try before meditating. Many meditation experts recommend doing light yoga poses before meditation.
Sit in a comfortable position. It is very important that you are comfortable while meditating, so the goal is to find the position that is best for you. Traditionally, meditation is practiced by sitting on a cushion on the ground in the lotus position or half-lotus position. But this position can be uncomfortable if you lack flexibility in your legs, hips and lower back. You want to find a posture that allows you to sit with a balanced, tall and straight posture.
You can sit without crossing your legs or on a cushion, chair or meditation bench.
Once seated, your pelvis should be tilted forward enough to center your spine on your "sitting bones," the 2 bones behind you that bear your weight while seated. To tilt your pelvis into the correct position, sit on the front edge of a thick pillow or place something about 3 or 4 inches (7.6 or 10.2 cm) thick under the back legs of the chair.
You can also use a meditation bench, which is usually made with a reclining seat. If you're using a bench that isn't inclined, place something under it so that it leans forward between .5 to 1 inch (1.3 to 2.5 cm).
After sitting, straighten your spine. Good posture will keep you more comfortable during meditation. Once you are in a comfortable position, focus on the rest of your back. Start at your bottom and think about each vertebra in your spine to support the full weight of your torso, neck and head.
It takes practice to find the position that allows you to relax your torso with only a little effort to maintain your balance. Whenever you feel tension, relax that area. If you can't rest it without bending over, check the alignment of your posture and try to rebalance your torso to relax those areas.
Close your eyes if it helps you focus and relax. Meditation can be done with eyes open or closed. As a beginner, it is often best to try to meditate with your eyes closed to avoid visual distractions.
Once you become accustomed to meditation, you can try practicing with your eyes open. It helps if you find yourself falling asleep while meditating with your eyes closed or if you experience disturbing mental images, which very few people do.
If you keep your eyes open, you will need to keep them "soft" without focusing on one thing.
You don't want to go into a samadhi-like state. The goal is to feel at ease, yet alert.
Trying Basic Meditation Practices
Follow your breathing. The most basic and universal of all meditation techniques, breathing meditation, is a great place to start your practice. Choose a spot above your navel and focus on that spot with your mind. As you breathe in and out, become aware of the rise and fall of your belly. Don't make a conscious effort to change your breathing pattern. Just breathe normally.
Try to focus on your breathing and only your breathing. Don't think about your breathing or make any judgments about it (for example, "That breath was shorter than the last breath."). Just try to know your breath and be aware of it.
Focus on mental images to guide your breathing. Imagine a coin sitting above your navel and rising and falling with each breath. Or take a picture of a buoy floating in the ocean that is moving up and down with your breathlessness and lethargy. Alternatively, imagine a lotus flower sitting in your belly and fluttering its petals with each breath.
Don't worry if your mind starts wandering. You are a beginner, and meditation takes practice. Just try to focus your mind on your breath and try not to think of anything else.
Repeat a mantra to help you focus. Mantra meditation is another common form of meditation that involves repeating a mantra (a sound, word or phrase) over and over until you calm the mind and enter a deep, meditative state. The mantra can be whatever you choose, as long as it is easy to remember.
Some good mantras to start with include words like "one," "peace," "calm," "quiet," and "silence."
If you want to use more traditional mantras, you can use the word "Om," which signifies omnipresent consciousness. Or you can use the phrase "Shani, Chit, Ananda," which means "existence, consciousness, bliss."
While meditating, repeat the mantra over and over, allowing the word or phrase to be whispered in your mind. Don't worry if your mind wanders. Simply refocus your attention and pay attention again to the repetition of the word.
As you enter deeper levels of awareness and consciousness, it may become unnecessary to continue to repeat the mantra.
Try focusing on a simple visual object to relieve stress. In a similar way to using a mantra, you can use a simple visual object to focus your mind and allow you to reach a level of deeper consciousness. It is a form of meditation with open eyes, which many meditators find helpful.
The visual object can be anything you want. The flame of a lit candle can be especially soothing. Other possible objects to consider include crystals, flowers or images of divine beings, such as Buddha.
Keep the object at eye level, so that you don't have to strain your head and neck to look at it. Watch it until your peripheral vision starts to blur and the object consumes your vision.
Once you have completely focused on the subject, you should feel a profound calmness.
Practice visualization if you prefer to focus inward. Visualization is another popular meditation technique. A common type of visualization involves creating a peaceful space in your mind and exploring it until you reach a state of complete peace.[18] The place can be anywhere you like; However, it doesn't have to be completely real. You want to envision a unique space that is personalized for you.
Any space you can imagine could be a warm, sandy beach, a meadow full of flowers, a quiet forest, or a cozy sitting room with a thundering fire. Whatever place you choose, let it be your sanctuary.
Once you have mentally entered your sanctuary, allow yourself to explore it. Don't work to "make up" your surroundings. Looks like they already are. Just relax and let the details come to the forefront of your mind.
Take in the sights, sounds and scents around you. Feel the fresh air against your face or the heat of the flames warming your body. Enjoy the space for as long as you want, allowing it to naturally expand and become more tangible. When you're ready to go, take a few deep breaths, then open your eyes.
You can come back to the same spot the next time you practice visualization, or you can just create a new one.
Do a body scan to find and release stress. Performing a body scan involves focusing on each part of the body in turn and consciously relaxing it. To begin, sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and start focusing on your breathing, then slowly move your attention from one part of your body to another. Pay attention to the sensations you feel as you go.
You may find it helpful to start at the bottom and work your way up. For example, focus on whatever sensations you may feel in your toes. Make a conscious effort to relax any contracted muscles and release any tension or tightness in your toes. When your toes are completely relaxed, move your feet upward and repeat the relaxation process.
Continue along your body, moving from your feet to the top of your head. Spend as much time as you want to focus on each part of your body.
Once you have completed the relaxation of each individual body part, focus on your body as a whole and enjoy the feeling of calmness and relaxation you have achieved. Focus on your breathing for several minutes before coming out of your meditation practice.
With regular practice, this technique can make you more aware of the various sensations in your body and help you deal with them appropriately.
Try heart chakra meditation to tap into feelings of love and compassion. The heart chakra is one of the 7 chakras or energy centers located within the body. The heart chakra is located in the center of the chest and is associated with love, compassion, peace and acceptance. Heart chakra meditation involves being in touch with these feelings and sending them out into the world. To begin, get into a comfortable position and focus on the sensations of your breathing.
As you become more relaxed, imagine a green light going out of your heart. Imagine that the light fills you with a feeling of pure, radiant love.
Imagine the love and light spreading throughout your body. From there, let it exit your body and enter the universe around you.
Take a few moments to just sit and feel the positive energy within and around you. When you're done, slowly allow yourself to become aware of your body and your breath again. Gently move your fingers, toes and limbs, then open your eyes.
Try a meditation walk to relax and exercise at the same time. Walking meditation is an alternative form of meditation that involves observing the movement of the feet and becoming aware of your body's connection to the earth. If you plan to do long, seated meditation sessions, try some walking meditations. Try breaking them with.
Choose a quiet spot to practice your walking meditation with as few distractions as possible. Take off your shoes if it is safe to do so.
Keep your head up with your gaze directed straight ahead and your hands clasped in front of you. Take a slow, deliberate step with your right foot. After taking the first step, pause for a moment before taking the next step. Only 1 foot should be moving at any given time.
When you reach the end of your walk, stop completely with your feet together. Then pivot on your right foot and walk around. Continue walking in the opposite direction, making slow, deliberate movements as before.
When practicing walking meditation, try to focus on the movement of the legs and nothing else. This deep meditation is similar to the way you focus on the rising and falling of your breath during breathing meditation. Try to clear your mind and become aware of the connection between your foot and the earth beneath it.
Incorporating meditation into your daily life
Try to meditate at the same time every day. Scheduling your meditation practice for the same time each day will help it become part of your daily routine. If you meditate daily, you will experience its benefits more deeply.
Morning time is a good time to meditate as your mind is not yet filled with the stresses and worries of the day.
It is not a good idea to meditate directly after eating. If you are digesting food, you may feel uncomfortable and less able to concentrate.
Take a guided meditation class to hone your techniques. If you want additional guidance, consider taking a meditation class with an experienced teacher. You can find a variety of different classes by searching online.
Local gyms, spas, schools and dedicated meditation centers offer classes in several locations.
For a more immersive experience, consider attending a spiritual retreat where you will spend several days or weeks in deep meditation. Vipassana Meditation offers free 10-day retreats in centers around the world.
Practice mindfulness in your daily life. Meditation is not limited to your practice sessions. You can practice mindfulness in your daily life as well. Just work to be aware of what's happening inside and around you at any time throughout the day.[29]
For example, in moments of stress, try taking a few seconds to focus only on your breathing and clear your mind of any negative thoughts or feelings.
You can also practice mindfulness when you eat and become aware of all the sensations you experience while eating.
No matter what tasks you do in your daily life — whether it's sitting at a computer or cleaning the floor — it's more about the movements of your body and how you feel in the present moment. Try to be aware. This meditation and awareness is living diligently.
